The Tonight Show and other Late Night

n 2024-2025, Jim was a staff writer for the longest-running show in late-night history. Before that, he wrote for digital (and occasionally the broadcast show) on The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, People’s List on ABC, and a long list of TV shows and pilots. You can find much of his work in Jim’s Reel (CLICK HERE)]—but for a weird little change of pace, check out his joke highlights from Contract TK, the fully WGA-sanctioned late-night show about the 2022 writers' strike, featuring writers from Colbert, Fallon, Kimmel, The Daily Show, Meyers, Oliver, and more!

Digital Shorts

Jim wrote (and directed) this digital short film for Comedy Central titled "Every Contestant Dies on the Bachelor). Enjoy some full "uncut Jims" (and see if you can spot his cameo).

Scripted Narrative

Jim served as writer and showrunner for multiple seasons of Stop the Bleeding, an Office-style comedy created for the Bleeding Disorders community. The series won "Best Comedy" at LA Webfest. See Jim flex his narrative muscle here.

Story By and Script Punch Ups

Writing is not always about penning the full script. As a creator, producer, and director of Zero Issue (Best Comedy at the New York International Film Festival)—the world's first superhero documentary—Jim co-developed the story and was deeply involved at every stage of Matthew Cullinan’s excellent script. He provided notes, punch-ups, and on-set improvisation, shaping the film’s unique voice. This is one you’ll want to take the time to sit back and enjoy.
